In State Moves
In State household goods are charged on an hourly basis. Your representative will determine the number of men, number of
trucks and the size of the trucks that are necessary to perform your move. Once this is determined, our rates are as follows:
In most cases, we require a minimum charge of four hours. We charge from the time the men are dispatched from our Manchester
Terminal to the time they return. In some cases overtime rates may apply.
Out of State Moves
In most cases, how much your move costs will be determined by the weight of your shipment and the distance it will be
transported. In addition, if you require extra services such as packing, crating, storage or special handling they will be
added to the cost.
All moving companies must adhere to the rates that are contained in the Household Goods Tariff. However, we are allowed to
discount these rates depending upon various circumstances that may apply to your move. For example, moves scheduled during
peak times will not be discounted as high or off peak time moves. Your representative will be happy to answer any questions
you may have.
